flea market finds

vintage pyrex beakers

Italian black and white polk-a-dot ashtray

absolutely HUGE vintage print of a 'swarthy' Spaniard!

Thought I would play along with Her Library Adventures flea market finds this week. I've been catching up on a bit of thrift shopping recently and have lot's of things to show over the next week. Why don't you play along too?

  1. Swarthy men...they should be huge! Nice finds, lovely blog xo

  2. those beakers take me back! luv you're spaniard looks like he whoever he was, was a smooth operator. gorgeous blog!

  3. I love the spotty ashtray

  4. great finds, pics look awesome :)

  5. the 'swarthy' spaniard? is he turning in something else, i wonder? do you have plans?

  6. I've been stalking your blog and it looks as though you shop in very close proximity to me ... that would be weird if I'd walked past you and never known. PS I love the vintage sheets from a week weeks ago. Are you making a quilt with them? They look like they're cut into fat quarters.

  7. I love that ash tray. What are you going to do with it?

  8. Thanks everyone for your comments, so great to see some new faces!
Susan, I will be sure to keep an eye out for you in the local Oppies and say hi!
Woolf, I think my swarthy Spaniard will have a home in my living room when I've finished re-arranging things a bit, hes 1.2 x 1 meters so hes a big boy!
Naomi, what do we ever do with ashtrays? It will probably sit on my dresser with a couple of matching vases I already have and end up with a bunch of mis matched earings and five cent pieces in it :)

Thanks ever so for taking the time to say hi!
