I heart my Print Gocco!

I've spent some 'free' time the last week experimenting with my Gocco, printing and designing some Christmas cards and just playing around. I'm relatively happy with the end result but for future reference I will definitely choose a better quality card stock. I found the results where a bit hit and miss when printing onto the smooth almost glossy card stock, but a matt and more absorbent paper achieved a much better result.

I'm not to sure where the inspiration for a fat little sumo/babushka girl in snow gear and with dear horns came from, but she's a bit 'seasonal' without being over the top (whatever that means?) and I like her non the less.

I'm off to make Christmas decorations next, what are you making for Christmas this year?

  3. I love your Christmas cards. I haven't heard of a Gocco before, but it looks like a great piece of equipment. I'm planning to make a lot of treats for several Christmas hampers this year (i've done a blog post on this) and i'm planning several handmade presents.

  8. I have a gocco but have been to nervous to ever try it out. And I confess that I've had it for over 3 years. I really need to shake my nerves and give it a try. Your cards are perfect!
