I don't get a lot of time to get the pencils out these days but I've been working on this penicl and water colour for the last couple of weeks. I'm hoping to get it finished over the weekend...we shall see hmmm.

wow, that's very good. Will be curious to see him progress now...
ReplyDeleteOne word. WOW.
ReplyDeletewow... you have amazing drawing skills! the bird looks real!
ReplyDeleteThat is on cute birdie. He looks like a Robin but I have no idea if you get them in Australia as well as the UK. The round shape is just right, just with a yellow breast not a redbreast. Lo e your style, the attention. To the details is fab.
ReplyDeletei think you have just made a daring promise. looking forward, and love it already.
ReplyDeleteWicked drawing skills girl! Awesome! *s*
ReplyDeleteLove it!
ReplyDeleteHi everyone, Thanks for your comments :)
ReplyDeleteEmma, it is a robin but I thought I would play around with the colour of the breast (I have a thing for yellow).
Woolf, I'm hoping most of the folks who read this a mothers and 'get' how unrealistic that goal is ;)

What talent! Its just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI have made a chubby sparrow before , but that robin is the chubbiest(and the coolest) I have seen. I can relate to the "will I ever get it finished" dilemma. Please show us when you do!
ReplyDeleteWow - he's gorgeous! I have a big thing for yellow myself. I'd love to see pictures of him in progress!
